What is CD1?
I know this has been asked sooo many times, but I am now curious. When I get AF, it starts out for the first 1-1.5 days as VERY light spotting, then about 1.5-2 days after this light spotting happens, I get a FULL HEAVY period. Sometimes it takes a FULL 2 days of spotting before I get it heavy. And then after that it is heavy for about 2 days and then tapers of until about 6 days. So, my question is.......What is Day #1??????????
I know this has been asked before, but i am always confused. I dont know if this is something different for me in the past year or if it is that I never paid attention as much, I definately never counted like this! But bc we MIGHT start TTC later this year, I want to really get a good idea of my cycles and keep a better tract on everything. I have become so nuts that I have 2 sets of calenders since January....one with Day#1 being the first day of spotting and one with my Heavy period as being Day #1!
I am a bad Type 1 personality as you can now see!!!!

CD 1 is the first day of full flow. I always consider CD 1 the day I would need to start using a tampon.

Definitely agree! CD 1 is the first day you need to put on a pad or use a tampon!
Another thing to note is the 'color' of the spotting. If it's brownish, or has a brown tint - it's old blood from your last period that didn't make it all the way 'down the pipes' last month.
