What internet do you have at home?
i just broke up with Time Warner Cable for Verizon Fios.... same price 4 times the speed and i went from getting NO movie channels to ALL movie channels!!
Just curious, i know most of you are on LI and probably have cablevision... right?

Ditto...they made FIOS avaliable FINALLY but it takes 6 or 8 hrs to install in our co-op  so we haven done it yet

You seriously will not regret it!!
The picture quality on our TV is insane, we get a TON more channels and the internet is much faster! Not to mention we are paying like $60 less!!

I had TWC in the city and loved it. I wouldnt have switched. However, I've had Cablevision for a year now and HATE it. I thought Fios wasnt available in my town but a guy came to our door last night and said the former owners had it so we said sign us up ASAP

i have cablevision unfortunately...i had fios, but had such billing issues i switched when a nice old polish man came to my door and polka'ed with me and talked me into switching. with fios they charged me every month for 6 boxes when i had one tv, they agreed i had one signal, yet kept billing me, when i refused to pay for the 5 i didn't have and just the one they cut me off for nonpayment even though they refunded me at the end of the month when i called to complain.
so me, i got suckered by a cute old polish man who talked polish with me and polka'ed with me in my lr, so i switched. big mistake, cablevision stinks compared to fios, i have til dec 15 and then i am switching back , hopefully billing me for one box. we can only hope....ho hum..
