What happened to me? Extreme pain related...
We had dinner at MIL's, seafood chowder with scallops and fish, i have had it before. DH, FIL and MIL were fine.
At 2am i woke up in so much pain, it was unreal. the part of my belly under my boobs (which i assume is where all my organs are now) and it radiated down the sides and into my lower belly where the baby it (baby is very low), i was so uncomfortable and in so much pain and trying to breathe through it and tossing a turning. I have no idea what it was but it was friggin painful. It went away by 4am and could finally go back to sleep and seem to feel better this morning but any clue what that might have been? Food poisoning? Should i call the OB?

Sounds like Gall Bladder ... extremely painful - cannot breathe - cannot lay or sit comfortably. It's like heartburn on steriods.
I would speak to the OB or your regular doctor and ask for a gall bladder sono & blood work to rule out stones or infection.

I really don't think it was heartburn, i have had that before and it was nothing like this. It was like my entire belly was being twisted from the top of my belly to the bottom and it was sharp pain not burning of any kind.

ITA with this! It's more common than we think, especially in pregnant women

I have had heartburn in the past, but had a pain exactly like you described since getting PG. The doc said it was heartburn and to start taking Zantac 150 twice a day (I had the pain for several days off and on). I was sure it wasn't heartburn because that's not what I've felt in the past, but I started taking the Zantac and haven't had the pain since then. Feel better!

I have no clue, but I hope you feel better!! 
Anytime pain is that severe I would say a call in to the OB is warranted!

Definitely let your OB know, but does sound like gallbladder. Like the other girls mentioned it is pretty common during pregnany. My bff had her gallbladder removed about 2 weeks after having her son as she had a bad attack during her pregnancy and then right after.

i had really bad gas/heartburn once that felt like my ribs were cracked...it only lasted an hour or so and went away, never happened again, so im pretty sure its nothing serious...if it comes back i would def call your dr.!

it sounds like a bad case of heartburn/gas. I've had that feeling so many times, I usually take mylanta and just lay down on your side. It really only gets better as you get the gas out....burping helps.
