What floor would you put in....
i am putting a new floor down in my livingroom, hallway and dining room. Would you use, Laminate, hardwood or engineered hardwood,
I have 3 dogs and they are high traffic areas.

I have had all 3 and my fave by far is engineered hardwood(Bruce in particular). Especially with dog nails.

I personally much prefer hardwood. I think it will add to the value of your home more than the other choices as well. (of course, it's also the most expensive...)

it depends...if you're on a budget or moving do laminate, but if you're looking for a long term investment do the hardwood. Laminate would be fine with the dogs, but it would have to be replaced sooner. Good luck

Laminate. I, also, have three dogs and a high traffic area. I put my floor down 7 years and it still looks great, not to mention low maintenance.

Engineered hardwood. Just make sure you go with a durable and HARD wood, not like pine. I believe hickory is very hard and GORGEOUS!
