What family trips/activities do you have planned this summer?

We normally go away every summer with my entire family but since we just took a cruise we're not doing it this year.

I want to plan some day/weekend trips.

I want to take the boys to Sesame Place because Jack loved it and I know Ty will also.

What do you have planned? Would love some more ideas!

I wanted to do Sesame Place for Ann's birthday but it's end of quarter so DH can't be away from work (or he said he'd be on his Blackberry the whole time and I'd want to kill him ).

We usually go upstate to DH's family country house for a long weekend in August.

But other than that, we have nothing really planned

We're planning on doing Hershey Park and Dutchwonderland all together. They are 30-minutes apart and will stay overnight.

We also have season passes to the Bronx Zoo, which includes two other zoo's and the NY Aquarium.

We are also planning a trip to Great Adventure. They have that Safari and a lot of little kid rides.

Dutch wonderland end of june.

Just local trips after that. Im trying to get dh on board for a roadtrip early sept to see my bro in NC. So far, he is boycotting. He will change his mind sooner or later

I want to try that place someone posted in NJ, Wild West City. Probably combine with Land of make believe (not sure).

Strawberries picking in June out East
Maybe peach picking also

Def. going to North folk for picnics, etc...

we are doing a long weekend in lancaster/dutch wonderland in a few weeks.

bronx zoo
museum of natural history

trying to plan something else, not sure what yet.....DH will be working crazy hours all of june,july and august and then has the last week of august off, so we want to do something that week.

Long weekend in Vermont

Week on Jersey Shore (Long Beach Island, renting a house)

Maybe another week in Vermont

My cousin got a cabana at Nickerson so we will be there most weekends


May do Hershey or Sesame PLace

I also got the pass to the zoo. ANd our library has passes to the museums and gardens locally so we do that during the week.

Ale will be going to camp for a few weeks too in the mornings, and in the afternoons we will hit L-town pools.

ETA - Ridin Hy Ranch the last week of August.

Our family vacation this year is next week and we're going to North Carolina and Tennessee. This is with DH's family and we usually go away with them once per year.

Other than that, we're planning on Sesame Place and the Jersey Shore as weekend getaways.

We may go to Niagara Falls later in the summer but that is still up in the air.

NY for a week in July!!
Will be in Rhode Island for 2 days during the trip for a wedding and then Boston for a day.
Mostly just seeing family but hoping to go into the city one day too or the bronx zoo.

I think we will try to get up to Boston as well, we love it there and want to see my aunt/uncle/cousins.

Lake George for a week. We stay at my inlaws house 30 minutes from there and do various upstate activities.

We are doing Dutchwonderland/Amish country long weekend in early July.

We will be going to NY 3rd week in July. Originally we were going to Myrtle Beach or Ocean City but decided just to go to NY visit family and friends and the beach!
