What exactly does the NT blood work show?
I had my NT scan today and the Dr. said everything is great  the blood results I'll get back in about a week. What exactly does the blood work show that the scan doesnt?

I'm not exactly sure but I know when I called for my results they said that my bloodwork made my odds for abnormalities even lower. I'm pretty sure they look at it to get a big picture.

They are looking at your risks for any chromosomal abnormalities-- which is basically Downs, Trisonomy, etc.
I believe the blood work is more of the screening-- where you get compared to others (which is why this test can cause many false results which scare people). These blood results, are then combined with your NT scan results-- which are the hard measurements of the neck and nose, etc. to give you your risk factors.
