What else could go wrong?
Let me list everything that has gone wrong since I closed on my condo.
1. DH lost his wedding ring
2. DH lost his blue tooth (notice a pattern)
3. During demolition of our kitchen, they realized the wall we wanted to take down couldn't be taken down so we had to rework our plans and order more cabinets so we are delayed. Plus, I am so depressed that I can't have what I want and planned on! 
4. We just got in a car accident after our first "stress free" day in a week and a half!
5. And, because of all this and all the stress, we have been bickering non-stop!
I'm never buying again!

Buying/construction is so stressful! Try to hang onto your patience (definitely easier said then done).
Are you ok from the car accident?

Yeah we are ok. we were on the FDR and the car 2 cars in front of us stopped short, then the car in front of us hit him, and we hit her. We had the most damage but luckily our airbags didn't go off. What is totally ridiculous though is that the girl in front of us totally faked an injury. When it first happened, she was out of the car looking at her damage, cursing at the other guy, and told my DH "I'm ok". Well, by the time her father (a cop) came, he had her in the front seat with her seat belt on (as if she never got out) and they called an ambulance and she left on a stretcher. It was a JOKE!! We could even see/hear her father coaching her on what to say.

It will definitely get better. Moving into a new place and doing any construction is soooooo stressful. I had an awful experience when i redid the kitchen in my condo. I cried about 4 times a week for 4 months - over a kitchen!!! Once you are settled and all the construction is done things will get much much much better.

Thanks for the hugs everyone! I know it will get better but we are just spread so thin. Luckily, we are doing no condo related stuff tonight so we are going for a walk in centeral park together

Buying a home was by far the most stressful thing we have ever done..there was almost a divorce over it! Hang in there..

Isn't it the truth that when it rains it pours! Hang in there, this too shall pass and I think when it does you will be so happy with your new kitchen and the fact you own your place!!!
