what "outfit" do you use as a default for long flights?

Something with a stretch waist...like sweats.

I hate wearing jeans on planes because I feel like they dig into me while sitting for so long.

It depends on how long the flight is and what the weather will be like when I get there.

When we flew to Vegas, the flight was a little long but I knew when we got there it would be almost 100 degrees, so I had a pair of khaki shorts on and shirt sleeved v-neck.

I can handle jeans and nice top for flights 2 hours or less. But when I flew to Belgium years ago I wore a more relaxed matching gym outfit since the flight was 8 hours.

The last time I flew 8 hours was in November, and I did wear jeans and by the end, I was hating that "digging" feeling a PP mentioned.

Since blankets can sometimes be scarce, I usually wear one of those soft sweater wraps that can double as a pillow or blanket...layers works well so you can adjust during the flight and to the temp where you're going.

Sneakers work too since they're bulky to pack, but slip-ons are much easier for security!

I usually wear jeans, only bc I like to look presentable (personal thing). If I have a red-eye or a late flight then sometimes I will wear something a little more comfy.

Also I usually go for sneakers as they are easier to walk in, esp when dragging luggage behind me! Also that way I have socks on when going thru security! I have worn flip-flops before too but just skeeve the airport floor, yuck!

I like to wear anything comfortable but when I travelled on business, some people that I worked with from other parts of the country said that they were taught to look their best when flying.

I always dress nicely when at the airport. Jeans. nice blouse and flats. If the flight is under 6-7 hours I'll just stay in my clothes. If it's over that time I always bring comfy leggings or sweats and a hoodie. Oh and slipper socks too! My feet get cold on planes

i always wear capris-i usually have outfits like capris w/a matching jacket and tank top underneath.....i tend to get chilly on a plane so i feel that this helps me to stay warm on the plane but im not sweating when i get to a hot destination either ( i usually just tie my jacket around my waist when i get there)...i travel a lot and this has worked out great for me! sneaks too!

long-sleeve T-shirt; loose, elastic or draw-string pants and slip-on shoes with socks.

comfortable, not too warm/not too cold and efficient for going through security

To my FL to see my dad- sweats- nice sweats but sweats since I fly early in the morning

For vacation- a dress - if I am flying warm to warm or leggings/sweats if cold to warm

I used to fly for work- depending on the time I was arriving and what I was doing either nice jeans and heels or a suit/ dress pants

I usually wear comfy jeans and a long sleeved t-shirt of some sort. I bring a wrap or cardi b/c I get cold on the plane. I wear sneakers b/c they are easy to take off when going through security.

I always bring in my carryon an extra pair of socks, t-shirt & underwear incase I get delayed overnight. Its happened to me a few times & its nice to be able to change into clean clothes.

Comfy jeans, fitted t-shirt, cardigan, and either flip flops or slip-on sneakers (like skechers) that are easy to deal with in the security line. No belt.

layers. Usually a tee shirt or tank with a sweatshirt or sweater over it. If I am flying into cold, I will maybe bring a vest, and carry my gloves and hat. I dont like wearing a winter coat on the plane. And always cute sweats and sneakers. I want to be really comfortable

I usually wear khakis with flats and layer long and short sleeve tee-shirts. I find cotton khakis softer and more comfortable than jeans.

Some sort of yoga/sweat pants. I like to be comfy. And I always wear a zip up sweater/sweatshirt because I'm always cold on the plane.

Usually I fly in the summer & when I do, I wear:

Capris
A tank top
Zip up sweat jacket
flip flops.

I try to wear sweat pants and a short sleeve shirt layered with a sweatshirt or sweater. If it's a short flight sometimes I wear jeans.

khakis or jeans, depending upon the temperature, a nice short sleeved top, a light jacket and flats with socks.
I also keep a pashmina in my carry-on, in case it gets a little chilly on the plane.
I travel like this for pleasure and for business.

jeans and a tee shirt, with a flannel or long sleeved button up for when I get cold (or a zip up sweatshirt if I'm going somewhere colder). And sneakers.

I like to layer clothing. I dress differently depending on who I'm meeting at the airport and what I'm doing immediately after I land.

If I'm going to a meeting or hanging out with friends, I'll dress nicely.

Personally I prefer wearing sweats.

I will usually wear comfy pants (black yoga type pants) and either a tank top or a hoodie depending on the weather where I am and where I am going. If I am warm to warm then I always wear flip flops but if it is cold to warm then I wear sneakers and change to the flops once I get my bag.

When I was younger my mom always dressed up to fly and would dress up my sister and I too. It was something that she was taught by her mother.
