What do you use for each diaper change?
I took a baby care class at the hospital and they mentioned Vaseline for every diaper change. I know my SIL uses aquaphor. And every NB diaper set I received came with desitin. So just trying to see what I need to get more of to have for the house and eventually for the diaper bag, and which may be better to use to prevent rashes.

Re: What do you use for each diaper change?
Aquafor (actaully the Target version which is the EXACT same thing at half the price) at every single change. She rarely EVER got a rash. Plus it helped cleaning her when she pooped- everything just wiped right off.
If she did get a rash, I'd use Butt Paste with the Aquafor on top of it.

I don't use anything on a regular basis. If I notice she is getting a bit red, which is very rare, will put a little A&D on her. I just make sure to let her air out as much as possible.

Re: What do you use for each diaper change?
I use Aquaphor at every change (more for overnight, less if I know I will change him again soon). No rash yet! Ad I use it on his eczema / dry skin too. Is a miracle product!

What do you use for each diaper change?
When we got home from the hospital we used Vaseline. He started to get a little red so the doctor said try some diaper rash cream so we went to balmex. Then the redness got so bad, he looked like one of those baboons with the red butts! Poor baby! The ped said use something with 40% zinc oxide. So we started using max strength butt paste. Now we alternate between reg and max strength butt paste. He has sensitive skin and will usually start to get red after a few days when we don't use the max. So all babies are different. I would start with Vaseline and see how it goes from there.

I use A+D at every change - i put a little extra at the very first and very last diapers of the day (since i don't change him all night)

What do you use for each diaper change?
Sometimes nothing, but usually the BRU brand of A&D. DD has never had diaper rash. I hate desitin or anything white and creamy since it seems to get everywhere and make my hands smell.

I use cornstarch at every changing. And if I notice she's a little red, I'll put some Desitin, but that's a rarity.

Vasoline after every change (more as a preventitive like PP) but Triple Paste is awesome for any redness.

Re: What do you use for each diaper change?
I have had 4 babies and only used cream for them if they looked red. I didn't put something on at every change. I used Desitin if red.

Re: What do you use for each diaper change?
Only put cream on if there is redness which is very rare. These creams have chemicals and stuff in them I don't like the idea of using them unless needed.

Re: What do you use for each diaper change?
Nothing for normal diaper changes. If DS was red we used Desitin, if it was a bad rash, we used Triple Paste. DD is way more sensitive, so if she's even a little red we use Triple Paste.
Honestly, the only thing that will really prevent rashes is keeping them dry. Don't go too long between diaper changes and you'll be fine.

Re: What do you use for each diaper change?
Nothing unless they are red. Then Vaseline or aquaphore. Rarely desatin or but pase. No rashes so far. (Knock on wood). The Vaseline prevents desatin treats. Not using desatin all the time supposedly prevents them building a resistance to it

Ditto this exactly - except the store brand of Vaseline. He only got a red tush when teething, so then I'd put Desitin on him and it cleared right up.
