What do you think about using Christmas hat for August Newborn shoot?
Assuming this baby keeps cooking, my newborn shoot will be in August.
My question is...
I fell in LOVE with this Santa hat. I'm a Christmas freak and would love to have a picture of DS in this hat to include as a photo montage card during Christmas. I'll have more pics taken of DS (with Santa, of course) in Nov/Dec when he will be 3-4 months old. Do you think it would be okay to include the newborn shoot picture with those "older" pics at Christmas time?
I have a sleigh that I would love to have DS in with the Santa hat! 
I'm also taking "non-Christmas" pics, of course, to send as the baby announcement in September or so... Image Attachment(s):

I'm not too sure how I feel about the hat in August. Kinda a little weird probably.

It takes about 5 seconds to pop a hat on. I say do it so you dont regret not doing it.

That hat is adorable! Where did you see that?
I was debating about doing that too but I decided against it because I'm already going to be sending out birth announcements with the newborn shoot and the baby is going to have changed so much from August to the holidays so I figured I would just do christmas pics too with one of my friends who has a fancy camera.

I would do it. Getting a snap shot of it wont hurt you but not doing it may...so go for it!

Thanks everyone!
It's too cute to pass up, so I'm going for it! And the vendor said I can order it in a 3-6month size, since I'm banking on my baby having a large head - if he's like his daddy! lol. She said I can clip it in the back for the newborn shoot, if need be - AND I'll probably be able to put him in it again at Christmas time!
