What do you think?
A girl in my office has decided to foster these two 3-week old kittens.
That would be fine except for the fact that she has been bringing them to work everyday this week and plans to tomrrow and Friday. I haven't touched them, but they are in a very close vacinity to my desk.
I asked her if the cats were sick and she said bc they are so young, its too soon to tell.
Do you think I have cause for concern or am I being paranoid?

I think as long as you don't touch them and definately don't go near their poops!

Re: What do you think?
I'd be more concerned as to why she's bringing kittens to work (unless of course you work with animals for a living.) I'm sure you're fine, just don't touch them.

Nope, I don't work with animals. Its bizarro, and I agree its totally weird to bring your pet to work. And I am a dog lover myself (hence my name )

I'm sorry, I just added that comment about bringing the cats to work because some people have bad allergies, asthma, etc., so that would be a huge concern to me, and I LOVE cats. I have two of them! It also struck a nerve because I have parents who bring their dogs into my school and let them off the leash I am VERY allergic to dogs and I walked into my classroom last week to see a dog roaming my room. I was furious. It's just rude, I feel, to bring animals to the workplace. Unless, again, you work with animals. Then it's just a given, haha

Re: What do you think?
I know. My office is strange. People feel thet can bring their dogs to work
I personally, would never because of the fact that people are allergic and its disruptive.
I'm not allergic, Im just afraid if they have some sort of sickness that it will affect me.
Like i said I haven't laid a finger on them and if thats going to keep me from getting sick, than i am fine with that.

Re: What do you think?
The only thing you need to worry about is the poops and perhaps a scratch (cat scratch disease.)
