What do you feed your small dog??
Tiny has been eating wet food for 4 years now and his breath is really bad now. I bought a food from Petco that is made for Chihuahuas and for the first few days he was very excited to eat the food. It is a dry food, called Royal Canin MINI Chihuahua 28 Dog Food. Now he wont eat it unless I dress it up with chicken broth. For those that have small dogs that are finicky, please post the wet or dry dog food that you give your dogs.

We feed Frankie Wellness Super5Mix Small Breed Adult Health Dog Food. I have only had him for a month and a half and he has never been a picky eater... but i figured that I would share what he eats. Hope your little one finds a food he likes more.

Wellness Core is one of the best.... And don't get me started with Blue Buffalo and all those recalls... Here's a list of the Best Dog Foods

my parents dogs get solid gold wee bites. they are salmon flavored. it comes in a purpleish bag.

Bruno is on prescription food.
When they've pulled the not eating thing on me, I've waited them out.

Our dog has allergies so we feed him
Natural Balance Small Breed Bites (Potato & duck formula)
Our dog loves it - we also mix in some canned pumpkin - it helps his digestive system and he goes crazy for it.

Our dog is on Wellness- the purple and gold bag.
She loves it! We always thought she was a picky eater until we changed her food to Wellness. Now she eats every meal! Apparently, she just didn't like her old food. Poor girl  I highly recommend Wellness.

I just started feeding this to my maltese shihtzu and my poodle shihtzu - they seem ok with it
i used to feed the royal canin, and actually still do from time to time. they are VERY picky eaters also. I just give them dry food for breakfast and lunch and then i put a little bit of wet food wtih their dinner and they seem to eat it. if they get hungry enough, they eat!

I am sticking with the royal canine for now....He seems to like it. Danielle thinks we should feed him dry food in the morning and wet food at night, but i cant seem to find a wet food that he will like that isnt healthy for him.
Any ideas?

that's what my yorkie eats too.
We noticed that when we did wet food food when she was younger, she would gobble it up as soon as we put it out. ONce we switched to dry, she will eat a few peices here and there throught the day. I doubt she likes it as much as the wet food, but it's better for her, so we stick to it. Your dog will eat when hungry.

we feed our yorkie and our boston nutro max small bites and for wet we give them nutro natural choice dog food trays. they love it!

My dogs a yorkie (teacup), I feed him dry food - Nutro Natural choice lamb and rice formula. We fill a small bowl and he picks at it when he is hungry. We stopped feeding him wet food at 1 and switched from puppy IAMs dry food to this.
