What do you do for fun with your SO? **I know it's been done before, but no harm in doing it again!**

We go to Manhattan for the weekend. A few times on the way to Manhattan, we go to Coney Island with the kids, walk the boardwalk, listen to the steel drum bands.
Our favorite thing is to go to concerts. My favorite place is the Oyster Bay Aboretum's FOTA shows. We bring lawn chairs, wine, appetizers..grapes, cheese cracker and hang out & watch the show. Huntington's Hecksher Park has some shows set for the summer. Northport has shows on Thursdays and a few fireman's fairs coming up.
Every year our town (Huntington/Northport) has a few drive-in movies, where you bring your car to beach & watch from your car.
This weekend, we're going to Montauk to a friend's beach house.
For the most part, we hang out at our home with family or at friends' houses. Sounds lame & very mellow, but I love hanging out with him. He's fun to be around - one of the top reasons why I married him.

We are so boring!
We both work during the week so on the weekends we usually do everything together.
A typical weekend might consist of happy hour and sushi on friday night, supermarket/costco and/or farmer's market on saturday... maybe movies or mall too. I usually cook a nice dinner on Saturday nights. Sunday brunch overlooking the water... drive along the coast or sometimes a picnic in the park with our dog... beach... any local festivals... sunday night we always have dinner at home and then ice cream sundaes

carnivals/amusement parks - we are RIDICULOUS - if there's a ride that goes upside down or just plain fast, then we're on it and we don't care if it's at Great Adventure or in a mall parking lot

Tonight is the Bee Movie at Dix Hills Park.
July 17th is Surf's Up at Crab Meadow.
August 4th is Hecksher Park. It's a TBD movie classic.

Take the dog to Smith's Point at night and walk along the beach, then go to the Beach Hut and listen to the band....
Go to his families cottage on a lake in CT.
Go for hikes or bike rides in the woods
Sit on the deck, light the firepit and have a few drinks
Philharmonic at Hecksher Park each year

Tons of BBQ's once in a while we will be spontaneous and go into manhattan and go to a museum or restaurant by rockerfeller center haha we are living on the edge
Beach, pool lots of friend get togethers we love to dine out and then occassionally go to the movies or get ice cream

It may sound lame, but our favorite thing is to work in our garden and just hang in the yard and watch the wildlife...we can do this for hours and hours...
We are currently working on hand feeding the chipmunks...as of now, we can get them within 6 inches of us

DH owns a SCUBA diving shop, so we go scuba diving together a lot.
We also love to just sit in our yard and watch our wildlife and enjoy our gardens.

BBQ on our terrace, Movies, Drinks and dinner in the city. We are planning weekend trips this summer: Myrtle beach, VA, and maybe Canada. After work most day, he plays PS3 and I am on my WII

We also like going for hikes and walks and exploring new parks. We're both very into nature/widlife, so we usually do something like that every weekend. Our ILs have a beach house on an island, so during the summer we spend a lot of time there. We also enjoy eating out. DH has season tix to the Mets, so during the baseball season we spent A LOT of time at Shea.
During the winter, we watch a lot of movie rentals and experiment with cooking. We're looking into taking a cooking course together.

We did a bunch of that last summer--it was fun. We didn't go on rides though, mostly we went around seeing which carnivial had the best zeppoles! 
Honestly, we don't really have much time on the wekends for recreational activites, so we usually just end up, going to the grocery store, the library, and gardening or going to a family fiunction. We pretty much do everything together though.

our favorite thing to do together in the summer is get a babysitter for the kids,
pack a nice picnic with either a bottle of wine or a mixed drink in a cold thermos, and go on the boat right before dusk....
we drop the anchor and just hang out&talk

The most fun thing we do together right now is play in a kickball league!
We also love to:
-work out at the gym
-go to the movies
-play rockband
Oh and how could I forget... renovate our new home.

Go to the movies, baseball games, Atlantic City, travel to different ballparks, (this weekend we're going to see Phillies vs. Mets)...I think we're booked every single weekend until Labor Day!

In the summer, put the kids to bed and make a nice dinner and sit outside with a bottle of wine and eat and watch the birds.
In winter, once a week we try to sit down to a nice dinner just the two of us. We like to experiment with cooking.
