what do contractions feel like?
i've had the worst back pain all day and i know sometimes you can go into back labor but i have also had a lot of cramping all day too...
what do contractions actually feel like?

bad back pain can definitely be labor pain!! some people experience labor only in their backs.
some of my contractions feel like the baby is balling up inside me - my uterus gets really tight but it's just uncomfortable, not painful.
then there are other really intense, painful contractions that start in my back, and move around to my uterus, and feel like whopping menstrual cramps.
i've definitely heard of labor starting with bad back pain. this could be it for you!!

When my sister went into labor, she had all back labor.

With my pregnancys I had true back labor. I never felt one pain in my stomach. It started with a shooting pain down the right side of my back that I will never forget! Good Luck

I had back labor with my 2nd. At first I wasn't positive if they were contractions or if it was just a bad back ache. But I timed them and they were 3-5 minutes apart, and they got progressively stronger.
Mine wasn't a constant pain, I just had to stop what I was doing while I was having one, and then I was able to carry on like normal. I was laughing and talking in between contractions all the way until it was time to push him out!

i have had such intense back pain and period like cramps all night.. Plus i got up to pee 6 times last night
i'm soooooooo crampy...i wonder...could this be happening soon?
