What do braxton hicks feel like?
People keep asking me if I am feeling braxton hicks. What do they feel like? I have some cramping down there but I attributed it to just stretching and growing. How do you know the difference?

A tightness across your stomach. I never had pain with braxton hicks just an uncomfortable feeling.

I agree, it's a tightness. It feels like when you're doing a crunch at the gym, even though you're standing up. Sometimes my abs get so tight, it's hard to move my legs to walk for a few seconds. But it doesn't hurt, exactly - it just feels weird and uncomfortable.
They started at about 20w or a little after, and most noticeably when I had to go to the bathroom (er... for #1!).

Mine are weird. I not only do I feel the tightening, but it feels like my skin is crawling into the tightness. When I'm standing up strait it's slightly uncomfortable, but I don't even feel it when I'm lying down. Actually, that's when I feel the creepy-crawly feeling. Then I touch my belly and feel how tight it is.
