What dishwasher detergent do you moms use?
I really, really tried to love 7th Generation...I love that it's non-toxic and had no phosphates. But it sucks, it really does. Our dishwasher is only a few years old, so it's not the dishwasher. We've used the 7th Generation for over a year I'd say, and it's gotten progressively worse. Our flatwear has become sooooo cloudy, things have started to appear dirty after washing (I rinse everything perfectly clean before loading it, b/c I know the 7th Generation hasn't worked well on getting food off). Last night it didn't wash anything, literally just globbed in the bottom of my dishwasher (didn't know it before I used several of DD's bottles  )
What "eco-friendly" detergent do you use? I gave in and used Cascade tonight, but using an "eco-friendly" one is very important to me since DD eats off of everything, and her bottles are in there.
I'm at my wit's end with it, it's gross!!

No help here!!!!
I wash all DS' dishes by hand with liquid stuff. I never paid attention if it was "toxic".

Always here for comic relief  Seriously, I was gagging at the nasty dishes that I fed DD off of w/o knowing it. I put in my time with that stuff, I tried to love it. And all the while, DH was nagging me to just switch back to Cascade...he was right (gasp  ) I just hated the way her bottles smelled, like bleach.
Sorry, I didn't want to make it seem like Cascade was bad or anything ladies, I was just trying to be socially-conscious about something We're back to Cascade for the meantime, unless I find another alternative that actually CLEANS like Cascade!

I use the Palmolive Eco Friendly Phosphate free stuff, don't know the exact name. It doesn't leave a film like the other d/w soap I've tried.

Well we use 7th Generation...but Sometimes when on sale I get Ecover( works the best IMO) ...and it works great! And just recently I tried Method brand ,they redesigned them..worked great but didnt like the price.

I'm no help. We use Electrosol tablets, bought in a big can from Costco. Not eco-friendly that I know of.

I use this one too. It works as well as regular stuff IMO
