Same here. I admit that sometimes people post pics of new shoes or clothing they bought and I find the item horrendously ugly... also, products that work for me or someone else may not work for you and vice versa...Another thread said they hated Frieda shampoo/conditioners and I love that brand..but someone else loves Garnier Fructis and I cant stand the smell of their products. So honestly, i dont rely on peoples opinions here...

Weed? I think you might be a nutjob. 
Let's see... I've signed up for Stitchfix and Ipsy based on rec's here. I can't think of anything I actually bought based on rec's from this site though. I'm a creature of habit so I tend to stick to things that are tried and true for me.
ETA: OH! I did just order a pair of Sorel boots for the winter.  I haven't gotten them yet, but I bought a pair for my MIL for Christmas 2 years ago- which she raved about. You would've thought they were made of gold the way she loves them.
