We got the Sweet Dreams crib mattress from WalMart and it has worked very well, DD loves it and it transferred to her toddler bed just fine. Got another one for DS for when he gets into his crib.

Colgate Classica Foam. It was the top rated one in Baby Bargains so we went with that.

DD is 14 mos and honestly I don't remember....i think it's colgate. Not a foam. They pushed 2 really expensive ones at BBB....sisters reminded me that do not sleep on it for that many years...so I went with one in the $150 range I think and all is fine.
Honestly it's not like a baby can tell you if they are uncomfortable on their mattress...I have never heard of anyone being upset with the mattress they bought b/c what do we really know if it's good or not - we are not the ones sleeping on it.
I definitely don't see the need to break the bank on one is all I'm saying...just my opinion.

Is this the one they recommend at Behr's when you buy at set and it's $99? Cuz that's the one we got.

BTDT mom crashing... We got the foam classic they sell at bbb. What I like is that it's 2 sided... Very firm side for infants and a cushier side for toddlers. Also, it's not very heavy so changing sheets isn't so bad. Def recommend it.
