What Could this be? Kinda long sorry, but would love advice.

So, DD started with the babysitter this week as I'm back at work. She seems to enjoy it and is "an angel" for the babysitter. Tuesday we picked her up and she was her usual self. Wednesday we get home and she starts SCREAMING. and crying and fussing. She was inconsolable. I checked diaper- nothing. Stripped her naked and checked every inch of her- nothing. put her diaper back on and she pooped. She would calm down for a min and then start back up again. I finally stripped her again, gave her a nice warm bath, and as I was rocking her she let out some gas and then shortly after calmed down, took a bottle and then slept for a bit, woke up and was back to her normal self. Yesterday, we get home and SAME THING happened all over again.
I spoke to babysitter, she said she passes gas all day long and burps and poops once a day.
We use Avent bottles and when I went to buy some for the babysitter, I didn't notice they were a bit different with some special seal "to help with gas" until I was home and sterilizing them. I figured they'd be fine. Now, I'm thinking they may be what's bothering her?? Is this possible? I know when we tried Dr. Browns a while ago, she had horrible gas too, evven though they are supposed to help with it!
Today I brought the babysitter some of our usual bottles to see if this helps.
Do you think it's gas or the change now that she's with the sitter? She is 9 weeks old today. I noticed she didn't sleep as well these past few nights either.
THoughts? Advice? Opinions?

TIA!

How old is she? Pooping once a day does not seem like that much for a small baby..

I think she might just be getting adjusted to the sitter. My DS never slept as well when he wasn't home, and then when we got home it was like he was overtired and couldn't sleep. It affected his night sleeping as well.

DD only goes once every other day! She's 11.5 weeks old, has been like that since about 8 weeks. She's not uncomfortable as far as I can tell so I don't worry (she is mostly BFed with a little formula each day).

It is definitely possible that it's the bottles. Is she on formula or are you pumping?

She's 9 week old and has been pooping once (and on occassion twice) a day since she was about 5 weeks old. Dr. says it's pretty normal. She does have a severe milk protein allergy and is on elecare.

The sitter says she does nap there. DD has never been a big sleeper and she fights falling asleep. I just think she seems to very restless this week.

Ahh OK. I dealt with that with my son as well. I have heard from other parents that elecare can constipate. My son was on Nutramigen amino acid and we never really had issues with pooping. I woulld just try massaging her belly, warm bath like you did.
