what comes after cd 3 testing?

Obviously based on my cd3 test results, the doc will prescribe a treatment plan. Do I go for monitoring again soon after? More than once? TIA!

well it depends on your protocol, but i think you said you will probably be doing something similar to what I did. Here was my schedule:

cd4 - monitoring appt (bloodwork/sono)

cd4-8 - femara
cd4-rest of cycle - dexamethazone

cd13 - monitoring appt (bloodwork/sono) - had 1 follie at 16mm and the rest were 12mm and smaller

cd16 - monitoring appt (bloodwork/sono) - had 3 follies 20+

triggered with Ovidrel that night and was told to next 2 days

our actual BD schedule was cd9, 11, 13, 15, 17, 18, 19

started progesterone supps 1 week after trigger

beta scheduled for 2 weeks post trigger

it completely depends on what your d/x is based on the cd3 testing. most likely if you go medicated you would start with clomid or femara which requires usually one or two monitoring appts. then you would either do timed BD with or without a trigger shot or do IUIs. but it realllllly depends on your d/x. theres no blanket answer that works for everyone. are you seeing an RE?

yeah and i most likely will be doing something similar to what kelley ( !) stated above. Ill be doing femara possibly with a trigger shot. So it looks like a couple of more monitoring appts after this one.
