What color paint and what color carpet would you pick

for your bedroom if you have no real furniture yet?

Our master bedroom is pretty bare. We have our bed (no headboard) and a couple of night tables which we grabbed from my parents house when we moved.

We have decided that our hardwood floors while beautiful are not working for us and will be putting carpeting in our bedroom.

Since we are putting down a new carpet, we might as well paint the room too. But how do I pick colors for either if I have no idea what style/color furniture I'll be putting in there in the future.

I really need some help with this. What color carpet and what color paint to go with it?

IMO always do a neutral carpet. I'd go with a shade of beige. You really leave your paint color so open doing so.

I agree with the beige paint & carpet. It's neutral and can act as a nice backdrop to most styles.

I did sand color carpet and BM Grey Wisp on the walls(soft green/grey) I love it!
