If you are a dog lover try to meet some of the country dogs! Everywhere we went we seemed to meet these spunky dogs. Some where big herding dogs and soooo protective of their land (not mean, just wary of strangers) and at a gas station a dog jumped in our car, we took him back to our b and b (where we let him sleep in our bed), and the next morning we drove around trying to find his owners. When we found them they said he does this all the time.

Definitley spend some time in Dublin. They have these hop on/hop off bus tours. You pay one price and ride the bus til there's something you want to see. Then you can "hop on" the next bus that comes along. The Guiness brewery was on this tour. Also look around Trinity College and see the book of Kells.
Other sights: The ring of Kerry, Dingle Peninsula, Cliffs of Mohr, Giant's Causeway (in Northern Ireland), Blarney Castle (and kiss the blarney stone) in Co. Cork
We made our own itinerary, so we drove all over.
