what color is dc's room? I am a boy but anyone can answer...unless it's Pink lol
one of the things I want to accomplish (besdies getting my life together) is repainting Luce's room. the paint just doesn't go and it is killing me.
we may have a handyman come and paint it for us in the early spring so of course I need to start thinking about it 2 months ahead of time to come to a decision by then!
the walls are a nice green color but they just don't go with the "theme" we've finally settled upon. so, we need to expand the horizons.
pics would be great too!

DS' room is a pale yellow. We have a nautical theme in there with blue/white/red accessories.

DS' walls are a tan color and his room theme is mod monkey (green/brown). You say the green doesnt match your theme. If you give us the theme we might be able to suggest some complimentary colors for the walls.

White walls. But I plan on painting one of the walls with large stripe navy/greyish blue. We have a nautical theme. But I love the color red, navy and white for color theme anyway.

Its a very nice light grayish blue. No real theme. Just have this mural, I got from etsy on one wall:
Its very popular shade you can google images for lots of different rooms with that color.

we have 2 shades of blue.. they are Thomas the Tank Engine blues.

we are trying to keep it young but need the room to be comfy for guests (it's also our guest bedroom)
this main colors are navy blue and red. those are the bedding colors.

My girlfriend pulled this off with olive green walls.. she also had a section navy blue, red and white stripes horizontally in the middle - it was gorgeous but she's gifted that way. Putting the stripes in the middle tied the colors and theme together.

Ryan is blue nautical theme - but only b/c he has one sailboat pic
He has a madras quilt
Colin is BM georgian green - and is safari themed with brown drapes

I did a light blue w/ dark blue & white strpies. I had the images from the bedding painted above the stripes.. the beginning pics are in my album.

DS's room is light yellow. For your theme, I would do a light beige or light blue.

My playroom is little boy old americana 
We used BM Old Navy and I LOVE it! It's dark but I have lots of white accents in there (thick molding, white shutters, furniture) so it's still very bright and then I have red/blue storage bins.

my baby's room is light blue (it's called Heavenly Blue by Martha Stewart), and he has a giraffe theme...there are pictures in my album although his room changed a bit since he was born...more colorful with toys and sports!

Imo, with navy blue and red, you want to stay neutral, like browns, or grays
I really recommend a light gray with some other tone you like mixed in, like blue or green, it can make room look very sophisticated for guests and serene as a bedroom.
