What are your kids wearing?

I packed away most off dd's long sleeved shirts and wintery clothes. My aunt commented on dd wearing a short sleeved shirt but she had on a light zip up jacket and said she was fine. She is still wearing pants, sneakers and socks. I wear the same? I'm not wrong, right?

What are your kids wearing?

My girls have been wearing pants with a short sleeve shirt with a zip up hoodie. They have been fine. They are in kindergarten and they always say it is warm in school. They put on hoodies for recess.

It's fine. It gets warmer later in the day.
This morning was chilly but it is supposed to warm up.

DD still has her long sleeved tees out in her drawers because I don't pack stuff away until at least the end of this month.

So today she wore a long sleeve tee and leggings with a zip up sweatshirt/hoodie for the bus


I will usually put her away her heavy sweaters and sweatshirts and just keep out a few long sleeve but light weight tees

I don't put any clothes away until she grows out of them and I take the next size out.

But either way I basically have my DC in either short sleeves and pants socks and sneakers with a jacket on when the weather isn't supposed to get higher than low to mid 60s anything higher than that DD wears capris, short sleeves maybe sandals and a jacked in the morning if its cool out.

DS will wear shorts, high socks, and tshirt with again a jacket in the morning if its cool out.

I've put away some winter stiff but not all. Even in summer they wear long sleeves it pants at times. My 5yo insisted on a short sleeve dress with tights and she wore a light fleece outside but it was warmer than I expected. Younger dd is wearing long sleeves and leggings.

If it is warm in the morning (over 55) and going to be warm during the day (70+), he wears shorts, short sleeves, and a light jacket. If he is not in shorts, he comes home dripping in sweat after playing outside all day.

If it is cooler, I usually put him in pants and a short sleeve shirt. He then usually has a light jacket, cardigan, or sweatshirt.

I never change over his clothes until he outgrows them so I have access to all of his clothes all year.

I'm the crazy mom that sent their child to school with his bubble jacket bc I was freezing this morning!

But to answer your Q, DS who is in PreK either wears a long or short sleeve shirt and pants and usually a light jacket (with the exception of today )
The other day I dressed him in a t shirt and hoodie and he told me he was freezing when he went out for recess. This in between weather drives me nuts!

DS is in shorts and a Tshirt. He wears a zip hoodie to go to school but comes home with it in his backpack

Same- zip hoodie which comes home in her bag daily. She never wears it during the day, just the morning.

DS 1 is in shorts and a t-shirt (I've given up the fight about pants for the season...)

DS 2 is in a long sleeved shirt, pants and a sweatshirt (he would rather be warm than cold).

DS is in long sleeve shirts and jeans plus a fleece jacket.

Long sleeve tee with leggings or jeans. Sneakers or Mary Janes. She wears a jacket (or rain poncho if it's raining) in the morning. This morning she also wore a hat, it was chilly!

So it's a mix. My dd runs hot. She would wear tanks in the winter if I let her so I don't fight short sleeves.

I keep a few long sleeve and short sleeve shirts out at all times.

I kept a few long sleeved shirts in her drawer so I listen to the weather each day. Under about 68= long sleeves. Otherwise short sleeves. And except for that 80 degree day, thin long leggings.

We are still in long sleeves. On the days that hit the 70s, I send them in short sleeves... but that hasn't been this week.

My DD is in mostly capris and T-shirts, sometimes a dress or shorts if we get a really warm day. Right now, she's SO over her winter clothes. She wears a light denim jacket in the morning.

My DS switches between jeans and a T-shirt or shorts and a T-shirt depending on how warm it is.

Both of them are done with winter clothes, I'd have to pin them down and fight them at this point to get them on.

What are your kids wearing?

I put my son in a short sleeve shirt (as an undershirt) all year round. When I pick him up from daycare, 90% of the time, he is in the short sleeve shirt only.

My younger ones are still usually in long sleeves and a jacket if needed. I've been sending my 4 year old to school in short sleeves with pants or capris and a spring jacket.
