I've gotten SO into the following lately:
Eric Church
Zac Brown
Toby Keith (this has been forever)
Jason Aldean
Alan Jackson
I have been obsessed with their "non radio" songs and some of the stuff that weren't released as singles -- so, I DL the albums and listen to everything and I tell you, to me, some of the other stuff they have is so much more amazing than the stuff they release on the radio. This is most true for Toby, in my opinion with Jason coming in second.

Right now in terms of popular and current music, I've been listening to the new pearl jam album, the new taylor swift album, acoustic covers (thanks to sirius radio and coverville podcast)...

For newer stuff: fun, mumford and sons (love them), edward sharpe and the magnetic zeros, bruno mars, the lumineers, miranda lambert

my "old school" is stuff from the 60s, 70s, and 80s lol
most of the time, i listen to podcasts in the car. the radio has nothing of value.

What are you listening to right now?
I'm loving the new satelitte station Y2Kountry although I listen to a lot of podcasts when I'm driving.
I love making pandora stations because they sometimes mix in a song or artist I havent heard.
My favorite pandora country stations are Sissy's Song (mostly alan jackson), Pistol Annies (Erich Church, Pistol Annies, Jason Aldean), Gary Alan (I love his older stuff that is rarely played on the radio)
My go to not new non-country artists are Corrine Rae Bailey, Colbie Caliet, Diana Krall, Soul for real, Fleetwood Mac

I also recommend downloading the I Heart Radio app and putting in one of your favorite artists...it'll open your eyes to a lot of musicians you may have not heard of.
IMO it's a much better app than Pandora. There is a lot more variety and less repetition of the songs they pick for you.
