What are the odds...
I know that everyone is different, but strictly going by averages, what are the odds of getting pregnant if you got AF on 5/22 (finished late in day 5/26) and BDed unprotected as late as morning of 5/31. So that would be what, CD10?
Last month was a 26 day cycle. I don't chart or really keep tabs on much except for this is the day I got AF, try not to do anything risky 2 weeks after that point, and I'm safe a few days before that date again. So I'm not sure if we were risky or safe.
Obviously we'd be very happy if anything happened, DH asked yesterday if the kids can call him (insert ethnic word for "dad" here like he called his dad), so I think the idea is starting to grow on him more and more too, but as it turns out (and shh to those who know who I am), I'm going to be starting a new job in 2-3 weeks, so it would not be the most opportune moment, kwim? To start and be like btw, I'll need maternity leave in a few months? And I kinda have a feeling I might have O'd yesterday too...later in the afternoon I felt sharp pains in my right side...so strictly going by the numbers, do you think that it's too early in the cycle, or it *might* be possible???

I know who you are!!
ANYTHING is possible girl!! Though CD10 it is highly unlikly..... it is still possible. Not many O that early. Then again you cycles are kind of on the short side. Last cycle my CBEFM said I O'd on CD12. and having unprotected on CD 10... would leave the sperm to live inside you for a few days so if you O'd a few days after that then it is more possible.
Don't drive yourself nuts though. If it happened then it happened and at least you have a cute ethnic name for daddy!!! If not... you can go on being no baby dust girl for a little while longer. Good Luck either way!

Re: What are the odds...
Totally possible. I am an early O'er (sort of) - I usually O on CD 12 or 13. So if you are as well, and BD on CD 10, the sperm could live for 2-5 days and you could definitely get pregnant.

Re: What are the odds...
Well, the month I got pg, I O'd a little early... somewhere between CD9-11. But that was after 6 months of trying! So it's possible.

Re: What are the odds...
I'm just a little confused because although I am very regular most of the time, for some reason in the summer my cycles shorten. I'm usually a 28 day, sometimes 29 or 27, but then in the summer usually it's 26 days for whatever reason. Maybe every 6 months or so I'll have a really weird one, like 25 and one time ever a 24 which really freaked me out, but that's super rare for me. I haven't noticed any EWCM either, which is what, a sign it's happening, or will happen after that?
I feel so ignorant. I really should read more in to this so we don't do anything totally uneducated...so really, thank you all for explaining it to me. I guess I'll find out in a few weeks
