What are the chances of getting AF while on progesterone?
I take the suppositories 2x/day. I really feel like AF is coming, I am very crampy, gassy, boobs are very sore when touched. These cramps are usually what I feel the day before and the 1st day of AF.
The nurse at my RE office told me I won't get AF while on the progesterone. But would I still get the symptoms? I am very confused. Sorry for all the questions!!

As long as you are on the progesterone your lining will not shed and you won't get AF. You could be having side effects from the progesterone or you could be pg...you go for a beta Wednesday, right? Are you going to test at home tomorrow morning?

Progesterone can make you feel like AF is coming. I have gotten AF while taking them, but I hope this is NOT your case

Progesterone definitely gives you symptoms of being pregnant and I have never gotten AF while on the progesterone, its always come 2 -3 days later.
I believe the progesterone is actually starting to make your uterus expand. I'm hoping for you that its not the progesterone and its that little bean in there making room for itself!

Thanks for the responses and baby dust!
I have decided not to test using an HPT, I am just going to wait for the results of the beta tomorrow.
This is going to be tricky if I am not pg then get my AF a few days later b/c we are going OOT for chirstmas for a few days next week, I don't know what what will happen if one of those days happens to be my CD3. Will I be throwing a whole month away? Can CD3 tests actually be done another day? Like CD2 or CD4?

My RE will do CD2 or 4 if for some reason CD3 doesn't work. They prefer CD2 as opposed to 4. Good luck tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I used to always get AF on progesterone when I took Crinone. Since I started taking prog suppositories combined with oral I do not get my period until 3-4 days later...

last month was my first month using progesterone suppostitories once a day, and I got my period while taking them, it started out as spotting, then I tested a BFN and stopped taking them and the next day AF came.
