BRU just keeps getting worse and worse...
So first they won't take multiple formula coupons...
Then they won't take a coupon with someone else's name on it...
Now over the weekend I get told I can't exchange diapers for the same price!!! I always buy my diapers when they're having one of those, buy 2 and get $5 off kind of sales. It always happens that DS moves up a size after we've gone through only one of the two boxes. So I always take the other back and exchange it, no problem. Well, over the weekend, I was told they wouldn't do that anymore, even though I had a receipt, and that I had to pay full price for the new box since it wasn't on sale at this time! It just didn't seem right and I was so pi$$ed! I dunno...it jsut really doesn't seem right, especially with a receipt...maybe I just got screwed...

they told me recently they were now allowed to take formula coupons with a different name on it , if you had a license , and they write the number on it.

I went last weekend and BRU Westbury gave me a hard time with the different name on the coupon too. I got annoyed and then DH chimed in and they took it.  That's completely ridiculous for them not to.

I just exchanged diapers there for a different size on Saturday (westbury BRU) the girl said the same thing and then called a manager to check to see if she could and then she exchanged them for me.....I didnt have a receipt but it was the especially for baby diapers which is there brand
which BRU did you go to?

It was the Commack store.
I never had a problem there. Also, the checks don't have any limitations on who can use them...they don't state that they can only be redeemed by the address. The merchant gets the money back no matter what. The only purpose of placing a name on the manufactor's check is to encourage that person to use it for that formula instead of a different brand. It's nothing more then a marketing ploy.

I have never had a problem with the BRU in Brooklyn. The only thing is that I was only able to use one check per formula can when DS was on formula.

I had this happen at another store and it wasn't BRU and that was almost a year ago. I have although had issues with BRU and TRU - hate TRU.
