what are some small house tools I can get DH?
looking for some small not very expensive tools I can buy DH for his stocking. He already has all the basics. Any ideas on something useful that he might not already have?
ETA: we just moved into our house a few months ago...so if you have any ideas, chances are he dosnt have it. We are going to be starting on painting soon.

DH is the king of tools LOL
some things you could put in are
zip ties
protective glasses
pliers
wrench
no matter how many screw drives you have you need more - and different lengths
level(s)
those contractor type pencils

Ikea sells a picture framing kit. It has all different size hooks and nails. GREAT for a toolbox.
A stubby screwdriver set (standard and philips).
Flashlight
Vise grips

just got my hubs the dremmel for his b-day. not too small, but not so big either. he loves it, especially for all the stuff that needs touching up around the house. it has a lot of attachments for all sorts of things, including planing doors, taking off old paint, small metal cuts...

black and decker just came out w/ this new wrench that looks really cool- all the parts are sort of together and the wrench part spins.... that could be fun.
Or a good tape measure
or a stud finder?
