DS took his first steps right before his first birthday....took 10 or more steps at once 4 days before his first birthday....and since then has been running non-stop

He was crusing for at least 6 months before walking. We weren't expecting cruising for so long.

DD was taking 1-3 steps alone by 10 months but I didn't consider her walking until she was walking short distances (like across the room or to the next room on her own) so I would say 10.5 months.

11.5 months. And the first day she took her first steps is the day she never stopped-- she went right to full-on walking immediately.

DD is 13 months and still cruising, she will take a few steps here and there but wont full out walk yet...shes been cruising since about 8 months
