What age did you offically stop jarred/pureed baby food?
I'm curious b/c DD is 11 months and although she eats most table food now I just don't feel like she's getting a "meal" unless she gets a jar of something too.
This mostly applies to lunch and dinner b/c she loves her oatmeal and fruit in the morning. I guess b/c I give her such small pieces... and with the jar she's getting big spoonfulls. She STILL only has the 2 bottom teeth too so i'm afraid to give her certain foods.
So how old was your DC when they were on all table food for lunch & dinner? And how many teeth did they have?

Um.... DS will be 3 in September and I still give him pureed fruits because that is the ONLY way he will eat it!

Once I finish this batch of babyfood I am not buying anymore. Tyler will be 9 months next week.
ETA: He only has his bottom two teeth, but eats everything.

Re: What age did you offically stop jarred/pureed baby food?
around 10.5 months she's completely stopped baby food
At that age she had 2 teeth barely coming in, now she has 4, with 2 more slowly coming in
She ate like a champ though with no teeth, they don't need teeth for table food
I give her everything, not pureed, just regular what we eat, grilled cheese, pasta with veggies, sandwiches, veggies (sweet potatoes, broccoli, green beans, carrots, corn, squash, okra), cheese sticks, blackberries, blueberries, banana, english muffins, strawberries, watermelon, honeydew, crackers, kiwi, turkey meatballs, grilled chicken, tofu, meatloaf, hamburger, Indian food, falafel, etc

i still give purees as a "side". Logan gets everything I make for dinner, but I make sure he gets enough nutrients with the jarred veggies and fruits. I'm guilty of not incorporating enough veggies in our dinner.

8 months, KJ refuses to let me feed him jarred food
once in a blue moon, he will let me feed him applesauce
but mostly, when I try to feed him, he bangs on his tray table like a cave man

Re: What age did you offically stop jarred/pureed baby food?
DS is 10 months and I think that we are almost at the point where he doesn't need any pureed food along with his table food. I think he is getting enough without it. It does seem like less food though, so I understand not wanting to stop it!
DS has 4 teeth right now.
ETA: I do find it a lot easier to give him pureed foods if we are out during his mealtime. It's way less messy

And you know what... I'm perfectly fine with giving him a pureed fruit whenever he wants them. At least that way he is getting fruit somehow!
Kids, so funny! I try to tell him that the pureed peaches are the same thing as a real peach, etc... etc... and he just doesn't even try!

Re: What age did you offically stop jarred/pureed baby food?
DS is 10 months. He is mostly on table foods now - though I do still give him pureed stuff occasionally - mostly if we are out or if I just don't have anything else soft enough for him.
He has 2 teeth - with it looks like 4 more on their way. He's really always been pretty good with "chewing" since we started him on finger foods. Though if I give him more then one peice of anything on his tray at once, he shoves it all in.

Stopped buying them when DS was 9.5 months, and finished off what we had when he was a little over 10 months. From then on, he gets regular food.

I just feel like she's getting such a small portion when I give her table food. I need to not be so nervous about her choking...

10 months. When they went to solid foods, I stopped giving the pureed. Plus I only had 3 jars left and didn't feel like buying anymore.

I was extremely nervous about the choking. I am the one that feeds DD's all 3 meals since DH is at work and I was so afraid to do it alone. When we went to the Ped for the 10 month check up, the dr reassured me and just said give them tiny bites and to avoid certains things.
