W.H.A.L.E. (We Have A Little Emergency) Program
I just found out about this program and wanted to share.
It's an idenfication system that attaches to the back of your child's car seat which has their name, age, medical history, contact info and a picture of the child. God forbid you are in an accident and unable to communicate to rescue workers, they have info on your child. Since it's on the back of the seat, it's not visible and only accessed when the seat is removed. There are 2 small whale stickers you put on the back windows of your car to alert rescue workers you particpate in the program.

huntington hospital gives out the stickers for the program and you put a new picture of the child in it.

I would think you could get the stickers from the particpating Fire Depts on the list, eventhough that's not where you reside. I mean..god forbid you are in an accident, it probably wouldn't be in the fire district you live in anyway.

yep, someone from Seattle sent me the stickers last year because of dd's food allergies. I think as long as the info's on there, anyone can assist if God forbid needed. I think it's a great idea!

We got those stickers from a session I attended at Winthrop when I was pregnant wtih Andrew. I had them on the infant seat, but never got new ones for his bigger seat. Great reminder.
