Were you EARLY, On TIME...or LATE?
I am almost 39 weeks and can barely wait another second until my baby girl is here...I find that I am super analyzing every little feeling and if one more person says..."Oh, it's your FIRST you are DEFINITELY going to be LATE!" I may scream.
So...just out of curiosity...for all the FIRST TIME MOMS especially...did you go into labor EARLY, ON TIME, or LATE?
Also...any words of advice on natural methods to bring labor that seemed to work for you would be very appreciated...I haven't tried anything yet but may very soon...I just want to see her little face!!

I guess scheduled c-sections don't count...sorry c-sec girls.

1st time mom here... 5 1/2 weeks early
everyone & their mother said "oh first time mom, you'll be late"
well, they were very wrong lol

DS was born 6 days late. But started labor when I was only 3 days late.

my labor started the night of my due date then i had my baby girl 24 hours later. so technically i was 1 day late and this is my first.

I had a scheduled c-section at 39 weeks because DS was breech.
K- I know 3 people who went on the day they were due. My SIL went two days after her due date.
My SIL swears that doing a puzzle sent her into labor... LOL!
Have some "grown up" time with your DH. That might help too.

Delivered at 34 weeks for my first one. I wouldn't recommend trying for that - no one wants a NICU/Special Care Unit stay...
I know several moms that went early with their first & late with their second.

at my 39 week visit i had no progress. I was working from home so every day i went out for walks. at my 40 week visit i had lost my mucous plug, was 100%effaced and 3cm dilated.
so get out and walk..LOL.
I was induced on my due date for other reasons, but went into labor on my own early that morning.

I was scheduled c/s but she still came early!!!
natural method.. don't think of it. haha I was so wound up that my Dad get here in time and please don't come early. I was here on the parenting board asking this same question because I wanted to make sure my Dad was there in time (out of state)
The day he go to NY we had lunch (mexican) doc appt 4pm dinner (sushi/japanese) then talked up the night until bed time. I went to bed happy he was with us and ready to go to work when.. BAM I started to leak that night.
37w along.
When I stopped THINKING about it, it happened

first time-went to 42 weeks. I had to get induced-never dilated
2nd time-we will see. Im due 2-6 but already in my mind I have got 2-20 as my official eviction date. I hope to dilate this time!

I was 17 days early with my 1st I went to the dr. the day before and he told me 1st time babies are notorious for being late.

I don't think I would consider myself early. I went into labor at 38w5d.
They say with your due date you can be plus/minus 2 weeks.

Both of mine were pretty much on time. My first was two days early and my second was 9 days early.
