I recall when I was a kid, the cut-off date was in mid december.... so a christmas B'day would be the oldest in the class.....

this was half hollow hills district in the 1970's...

Well, my sister and I went to the same schoold district (West Babylon). My birthday is December 7th and I was the youngest. Her bday is December 9th and she was the oldest. So I guess their cutoff was December 8th?? I don't know, but I always found it interesting.

Brandon is defintely the youngest in his class, he is 12/29 but was born in Westchester where the cut off was 12/31. I believe the Connetquot cut off is 12/1

My cousin moved around a lot , and wherever they were for Kindergarten (Mass., I think), the cut-off was Octobter!

I thought that was odd. He was born in July & his parents chose to hold him back, so now in a district with a Dec. cutoff he is a lot older. His parents dont want him to ge this license at 16, b/c all his friends will want him to drive them around.

On the other had my DH is born in late December the year before me & was a year ahead of me in school. One of his friends from HS (same grade) is a year & a week older than him because his elementary had a different cuttoff.

Alot of schools are 12/1
some are 12/15
and my DD's is 12/31(comsewogue)
