Weight gain issues
Our DD has not gained weight in about 3 going on 4 months. She is currently 16 months adjusted. She had been gaining weight at a clip of 1 - 2 pds per month previously. This lack of weight gain began at the same time I have been transitioning my DD from formula and baby foods to table foods and whole milk. She is also more mobile now as well then she was a few months ago. I also understand that her weight gain would have to eventually level off, but to go from gaining as much as 2 pounds a month to zero gain over 3 months??? Is this normal? Do I need to go back to giving her a high calorie formula rather than whole milk. I try to feed her about 1200 calories per day. Do I need to up that to 1400 calories? She's growing vertically and is now 33" tall. However, she is very skinny and I'm very concerned how this lack of weight gain is affecting her development as well.

Weight gain issues
I would discuss it with the Ped but DS is skinny and I mean skinny. He is not really gaining much. When he started walking he did not gain and the Ped said it was normal because of the increased activity.

Thanks Alli! What is your DS's diet like and how many calories is he consuming per day? I know that our DD is going to have to resume gaining weight, but I dont know how or when that's going to be. Very frustrating and worrisome.

Re: Weight gain issues
Have you consulted with a GI or feeding therapist? I know I have commented on your post previously as we seem to have similar stories. My DD is 18months, 15.5 months adjusted and also very skinny. However she is also very small as well (only 28"). We receive a nutritionist through EI once a month and she has been a tremendous help. She helps me calculate her calories and gives me tips to adding in extra calories. Like each day i try and get 1tbsp of organic flax oil into her. Its an extra 120calories. i ususally put it in a shake with milk, yogurt and fruit. 1200 calories sounds great for her age and her small statue. 1400 may be tough. How does your doctor feel about her plateau? I know they do say a plateau is normal around this age since they are so active at this point. If it makes you feel any better, my DD has only gained 2lbs since August...giving us a big grand total of 17.4lbs at her last weigh in last week. . I keep hoping for gains, but when she gets weighed its like 2 or 3 ozs. Good luck!
