Weekly Menu - 12/5
Share your weekly menu here!
SAT - Scalini's "make me go into labor" eggplant parm
SUN - Rotisserie chicken with sauteed spinach
MON - Grilled peppercorn-crusted T-bone steaks with worcestirechire-chive butter and baked potato
TUES - Rotisserie chicken, couscous, caprese salad
WED - Penne a la vodka
THURS - "special salad" (romaine, cucumber, tomato, mozzarella, sopressata, provolone, oil & vinegar), garlic bread
FRI - chef's night off!

Sunday: July in December Christmas Picnic! We wear summer clothes, shorts, bathing suits, sunglasses - and set up a picnic blanket in the living room in front of the fire! This year is cold cut sandwiches, potato salad, fried chicken, corn on the cob, tossed salad and lemonade. And then we decorate the tree!!! YAY!
Monday: Chicken enchiladas, red beans and rice.
Tuesday: Ravioli with meat sauce, garlic bread, Tossed salad with baby field greens, diced apples, roasted peppers, shaved provolone and basil vinaigrette
Wednesday: steak, roasted broccoli, baked potato, carrot ginger salad.
Thursday: Pork chops milanese style, sauteed snap peas, applesauce and potato pancakes.
Friday: Catchers Catch Can
Saturday: Chicken soup, French baguette, cucumber salad.

Mon: Cuban black beans with rice and chicken
Tues: Take out since I have a school thing
Wed: Pizza rolls-veg and cheese for me, something meaty for DH
Thurs: Veggie burgers, fries, salad
Fri: Pasta-lasagna maybe or primavera
Sat: TBD

It's what my mom used to say when she wasn't cooking.. catcher's catch whatever they can. Kind of like.. fend for yourself.
that's so funny! i always imagined it being some sort of seafood feast - like a clambake type thing

Sun: Braised turkey legs, spaghetti squash w/ garlic and pecorino, roasted broccoli.
Monday: Breaded veal cutlets, mixed baby greens salad w/ gorgonzola, craisins and walnuts.
Tuesday: Chicken Tortilla soup, avocado salad
Wednesday: Picadillo w/ brown rice, salad
Thursday: Stuffed Pork chops, garlicky butternut squash, green beans
Friday: take out or dinner out.

Easy week for us since we have mine and my sister's birthdays and DH has 2 meetings.
Monday: Buffalo Chicken Baseballs with Sweet Potato Fries with Basil Salt and Garlic Mayo (didn't make this last week)
Tuesday: Pasta Bolognese
Wednesday: Eating at my Dad's
Thursday: Fend for ourselves
Friday: Sloppy Joe's
Saturday: Eating in the city and going to see the tree
Sunday: Chicken Parm with Pasta and Garlic Bread

Sunday- Cheeseburgers w/applewood bacon and cheddar cheese and fries
Monday-not sure somthing soft having dental work done.
Tuesday- Sweet and sour meatballs over rice
wednesday- bake chicken cordon bue, broccolli, and rice pilaf
Thursday- Take out
Friday- Going to my best friends for Chanukah dinner
Saturday- Going to a Freind of the family for Chnaukah.
Sunday- My Chanukah family gathering.

Wed: probably leftovers from Mon/Tues
Thurs: Taco Night
Fri: Christmas party in the city

I am so bad this week. It's Monday and I still don't really have a set menu this week. Here goes....
Sat - Holiday gathering at friends
Sun - Jerk Chicken Pasta (tried to mock a dish from Bahama Breeze in florida!!)
Mon - Turkey Burgers, sweet potato fries, salad
Tues - Pork Cutlets (don't know what I am going to do with them yet) broccoli & rice
Wed - Rotisserie Chicken, roasted brussel sprouts, couscous and corn for DH
Thur - Out to dinner for my brothers b-day
Friday - not sure!

Sun – blackened chicken, rice & green beans
Mon – Turkey burgers on whole wheat ciabatta with provolone, tomato and guacamole, sweet potato fries, grilled zucchini
Tues – Trying a new recipe for doing a whole turkey breast in the crock pot…then mashed potatoes and roasted asparagus
Wed – DH has a late night, so it’s up in the air
Thurs – London Broil, some kind of sides (whatever DH wants to make…)
Fri – Leftover turkey (hopefully if it’s good!), roasted potatoes, roasted asparagus
Sat – probably pizza or something…

I am trying to get myself organized a little bit and make some easy dinners during the week. If I don't have a plan I end up eating too much crappy food!!
SUN- Rachael Ray's Christmas Pasta
MON- Sausage, peppers and onions with italian bread
TUES - Chili with sour cream, cheese, chips
WED - Chicken and rice with sauteed broccoli
THURS - BBQ Meatloaf with string bean casserole and smashed red potatoes
FRI and SAT - not sure yet

Saturday- Homemade minestrone and BLT's
Sunday- Had dinner at a FD event for DH's friend (He became chief! )
Monday- Going to a Expectant parents thingie at the carriage house- not sure if it includes any food- if not, I'll be eating leftovers or a sandwich.
Tuesday- Chicken corn chili and rice with cornbread
Wednesday- Turkey sweetpotato sheperd's pie
Thursday- Going to my aunt's for my cousin's bday- so pizza or whatever she has there
Friday- French bread pizza and salad

OKAY!
my menu sucks.
Sunday: chicken scampi with thin spaghetti, broccoli, creamed spinach
Monday: meatloaf, homemade mashed, gravy, creamed spinach
Tuesday: Tacos
Wednesday: honey chicken with french fries, glazed carrots
Thursday: tortellini ala vodka with garlic bread
Friday: DH is going to a work holiday party so I'll prob get Greek take-out - I'm hardcore craving yogurt sauce - most likely a falafel pita
Saturday: I have a bach party to go to so we'll prob just grab something to go
