Weekend get-away with 2 yr old?
My DH & I are looking to go away with our almost 2 year old DD this summer for 2 nights, 3 days somewhere no more than 2-3 hours away. We are not beach people though. Any recommendations?

What about Philly? There is the Please Touch Museum, Zoo, and its a short drive to Sesame Place too if you're interested in going there.

Weekend get-away with 2 yr old?
When my daughter was that age we did a little trip to Mystic, CT. We did the aquarium, walked up and down that main strip and she was pretty good when we went out to eat. She really loved the aquarium!

We went to Mystic last year when our son was 2. He loved the aquarium and the Seaport.

Dutch Wonderland and the Lancaster area is fun, but it takes us at least 4 hours from where I am on the Island, not sure where you are. Hershey is fun too, but again, at least 4 hours (without traffic).
Great Wolf Lodge/Camelback Lodge/Kalahari all in the Poconos (indoor water parks) and about 2.5 hours or less.
NYC, lots to do there

This but with traffic Philly can be longer. It took us 5 hrs to get to queens from Philly when we left at 2:30. Next time we plan to leave early.

ITA with Philly. My kids could have spent 3 days at Please Touch. There's also an indoor playground that's pretty cool. Like Once Upon a Treetop but in a mansion...
