Wednesday is the day!!!!
So I went to my appointment with Dr. H today. I am still a fingertip dialated. She said that I will be induced on Wednesday (which is what I figured and was hoping for since she is off tomorrow)
So, I call up Winthrop at 7:15am and they will let me know if it's ok for me to come in then, or if they are busy I will prob. go in later in the day.
She then sent me to Winthrop for the biophysical profile bc there were no techs in her office to do it. The fluid levels dropped below 7 so they all wanted to keep me there. They called Dr. H and she said no - send me home and stay with Wed. as planned. That was fine with me - being that I didn't have my hospital bag with me, still need to give the house a once over, and have to bring the dog to my parents house. I couldn't get out of there fast enough when they told me to go home.
They also did a weight sono and they think the baby is def. more then 8.5lbs --- CLOSER to 9lbs which is very very scary.
I am so happy I have some closure and that I have one more day to rest and prepare. I just hope everything goes smoothly.

I'm very happy for you!!!!
My friend had "lower" fluid the other day @ an 8, and they said anything below 5 is when they really get concerned.
Hoping you have a smooth induction, labor & delivery!!

HA - tell me about it! It still hasn't hit me that I am this late. In my head this kid was going to be here around June 10th so it's just crazy to me that we are now entering July -- and still NO baby!

FINALLY!!!! Just to ease your fears- they said at my 37 week growth sono that she was already past 7 and a half pounds. 2 and 1/2 weeks later she was born at 7lbs, 6oz.

Now I have one word of advice...
SLEEP ALL DAY TOMORROW!!
or at least most of it - cause it will be a long time before you get a good sleep again

I did get an internal at my Drs office(and then they wanted to do another one at Winthrop which I told them NO THANKS)
I am pretty much preparing everything tonight - just in case - I've heard so many stories (like yours )that once the date is set the baby will actually come. Let's hope so!

YAY Diana!!! So happy to hear you have a date scheduled. Are they starting the Cervadil on Wednesday night, or are you going in in the morning Wednesday?
I'm going in Wednesday at 6:30pm to start the Cervadil, then Thurs morning they'll start the pitocin. Maybe me, you & Bayla will all be around the same time!
