Wedding related question.
You have a sweetheart table the table next to you is the bridal party who's family sits next to you? Bride or Grooms?

this is what we did:
surrounding our sweet heart table were the BP and tables of our friends.
DH's family was on 1 side of the room and my family was on the other (like a horse shoe)

Well, in our case, the decision was easy, we wanted to be surrounded by the people who loved us, so my parents were on one side and our friends/bridal party on the other. Jt's parents were off in a corner where they belonged.

Our BP was made up of mostly family. We had my mom's table on one side of us, DH's family on the other side of us & then my dad's table right next to theirs.

We had our parents on either side of us.
Directly behind them were the BP tables.

we had our parents on both sides of us. We had 2 bridal party tables b/c we wanted them to be w/ their SOs... so it worked out for everyone!!!

We had a small BP and had them sit at the tables with their families. We had my mom's table as the first one next to me, my dad's table was on the other side of that one, and DH's family was the first one next to DH.
Hope that made sense.

we had our sweetheart table and when seated in our table my BM's and their dates were to our right -- which was the bride's side of the room -- and our GM and their dates were to our left -- which was the grooms side of the room.

the way our RH was.. the dance-floor was in the corner... so we arranged the tables with the people who were more prone to get up and dance, near the dance-floor... therefore:
we had an orgy when it came to our families...

We had a sweetheart table and the table to the left of us was my parents and their close friends/family and to the right of us was DH's parents and their close famiyl and friends.
the bridal party were all spread out... my BP was a mixture of siblings and friends and we placed them to sit with people that they woudl be most comfortable or knew better, not just the whole BP at one table.

This is probably what I would do. I didn't have a bridal party, so my family was on one side, DH's on the other side.

We had a sweetheart table at the head of the dance floor. To the sides of us, we had my LIW table and then the table on the other side was my bridal party. The parents were seated at tables next to one another across the dance floor, so they could look at us straight across.

I didn't have a 'bridal party' table. I stuck our Maid of Honor and Best Man and their dates at the table to our left with my sisters and close family. Rob's parents and close family were at the table to our right. The MOH and BM were our only bridal party outside of the flower girl and ring bearer (and our kids) - and they sat at one of our 2 junior tables. Also MOH and BM have been part of my family since I was 3 years old.. so it was all good!
