Wedding invite etiquette WWYD
So I need some advice...
I am getting remarried in October. I still use my ex-husband's last name as my legal last name. I do not want to use his last name on my wedding invites, however many people know me by this last name. Can I just skip putting a last name on the invitations and just use my first and middle name?
Not sure if it matters but FH and I are hosting this wedding.
What would you do?

Wedding invite etiquette WWYD
I am getting married in 4 weeks! I still use my ex's last name but my shower and my wedding invite had my maiden name. A lot of people know me by my ex's name but I didn't want it on my invite.

When I got remarried (DH and I paid for it all ourselves too) I also was still legally using my ExH last name. Although I hated the name, it was legally my name at the time. I put my full name, including ExH's last name, on my invitations. It was my name at the time and everyone knew me by that name.
If you're adamant about not putting the name on your invitations, then I think you can use first and middle names only for you both.

Should I use first and middle for both of us or just me?
Melissa midde & Gregory middle last
or
Melissa middle & Gregory middle

Re: Wedding invite etiquette WWYD
I would do it as
First Name, Middle Name (of female)
&
First Name, Middle Name (of male)
You can always put somewhere, celebrating becoming Mr. & Mrs. (new last name)
or add the new last name somewhere in there. eta: like hosted by the future mr and mrs (last name).
I have received many invitations that just had 1st names. I like the middle names though.
