Wedding dress made into christening gown
Has anyone had their wedding dress made into a christening gown for their LO? I'm looking for a seamstress recommendation and would need it done by the end of August. Also, if you don't mind could you share how much it cost you?

Wedding dress made into christening gown
Just sent mine off to Liane the fairy godmother in Ohio! Keeping my finger crossed but from her website her work is beautiful and reasonably priced.
ETA: Her website has all the pricing but the gowns start at $185. The shipping to her was $40 but I put tracking and $2000 insurance just in case. She is super easy to communicate with. Just call her lol!

i think i paid about $300 but this was almost 7 years ago
when i had my DD and needed it to be "grilled" up i paid about $150 for the alterations
I had a christening gown made for DS.
It also depends on the fabric the seamstress is working with. my gown was 100% silk
