Christening gown made from wedding dress. Anyone know someone who does this?

Does anyone know of a seamstress that has done this before? I'd like to have my DD's christening dress made from the fabric of my wedding gown.
TIA!

Tanya's Fine European Tailoring

It's funny, I was just having a long conversation with her about this.

I almost did this..... but then I decided to go pick out a dress instead..

AND

I turned the wedding dress into a Bassinet cover AND a blanket for the church.

I put a picture in my albumn...I sewed by hand, you'd get neater by the seamstress... I took the beaded boddice and made that the top to the bassinet, so if one day she wants to go back and use it in a dress she can. The blanket I ended up putting a soft fleece backing(so it wouldn't slip on her)

I know a seamstress who does outrageous work. She is located in Valley Stream. FM me if you want her info.

Rosealba Olarte on Main Street in Kings Park

If we are having a girl, she's doing mine.

She does AMAZING, custom work, and she is just fantastic.
