weather-related topic
do u like when i storm is coming?
sometimes I get excited watching the tv about storms coming. I mean dont get me wrong I dont like damage but when you arent doing anything and you watch the rain from the window and hear the thunder and see the lightnin. It is like i am scared but fascinated at the same time
weird.

so i am not alone!!! If have a hurricane/TS coming I am like GLUED to the TV. I get all the supplies needed and think of things to do if we lose power

I used to. But now I worry about:
*losing power
*losing power and my kids getting scared
*losing power and not being able to put on the TV for my scared children
And after the electrical fire cause by severe rain 2 weeks ago that burned a neighborhood house down to the ground, I worry about that too.

I am sure i will be "used" to. We just got a house and i am paranoid about this tree in my neighbors yard hitting us.
Awwww poor kids. I remember being so scared when I was little.
I am not a mommy (yet) but i am sure my kids would be petrified.

I love to watch a good lightning and thunder storm. It's kind of like nature's laser light show.
My favorite place to watch them is sitting in my car at the beach.

My sister loves watching/listening to storms.
But, I am petrified of them. I hate everything about them from the damage they may cause to just the inconvenience of bad weather.

I am indifferent when a storm is coming in. My brother in law watches The Weather Channel for hours. I am like it's kind of like news 12 in that it keeps repeating every so often. I honestly don't understand him with that obsession. I only watch when we have outdoor plans that day.

I love storms!
I also love sitting by the TV and watching these ill-prepared people (who live in storm areas) running to the food store and Home Depot at the very last minute for essential supplies. The stupidity of people amazes me ... I find it very funny!
