Weaning off Elecare...Any Advice from other milk allergy moms??

So the Dr. said we can start trying Whole milk. DD has been on Elecare since 3 months old. She had Acid reflux and a milk allergy. We have let her try cheese and yogurt and she had no problems. How should I start weaning her off? My insurance stopped sending elecare so I have about 2 months left of supply. Do I try another formula like good start or should I just start by adding 1oz of milk to the elecare and gradually increase if she does well?

I'd gradually add milk 1 oz at a time and watch for any adverse reactions!

We did not wean from Elecare straight to whole milk. We weaned onto Similac Sensitive fomula first, but that was before he was a year. We have now been weaning a month to whole milk, and he's having some issues. :(

The schedule that the ped GI uses to wean is as follows - it's the one we used to wean from the Elecare to the SS -although, as I said - we're taking much longer with the milk.

Based on 6 oz bottle but adjust to your amounts -

1st three days - pick one bottle only - replace 1 oz Elecare with 1 oz milk - so 5 oz form, 1 oz milk

Day 4 - change all bottles - 2 oz milk, 4 oz form
Day 5 - 3 oz milk, 3 oz form

You keep increasing and by day 8, you are on all milk.

One of my nephews had and still has a milk allergy or what they call milk intolerance, he only drinks goat milk, and is doing great on it.
