We just ordered windows!!!
After meeting with 3 companies we finally decided. We saw United, Thermo-tite and Unified. We went with Unified. They had the best prices and the same quality windows as the other company.
So we go one bow window, 11 low E glass double hung windows and 5 hopper basement windows for $6,000.
Thermo-tite wanted 12,000 and United wanted 7,000.
They're being ordered and will be installed in a month!

Congrats!!
We will be replacing our windows sometime next year probably... not looking forward to paying for that, as we have a sliding glass door to do, too. 
Man, this home ownership thing is expensive. 
Sounds like you got a great deal! Definitely let us know how you like their work and your whole experience, as we'll be looking for a window contractor sometime in the next year or so!

Wow! Sounds great! I got a quote from HD last night - 7 windows - just double hung or sliders - $4000!! 
I will definitley call Unified for a quote!

Good for you Stef!! We got windows redone on the upstairs of our house.. downstairs already has Pella windows. Thankfully DH's good friend does windows/roofing/siding so he charged us $1000 for 10 windows with installation. Otherwise we would have had to wait a while. Everything is so much
