we have been given
another day in the womb. today is much better than yesterday I am feeling really great everyday is another day she is safe. I am 25w1d and still no contractions I think I had a braxton yesterday while I was on the monitor but it wasn't strong enough to register. Things are going good though Sophia is giving us a little taste of her personality though 3 times a day the check her heart rate and put me on a toco moniter to check for contractions...when they do her heart rate she will be in one place and as soon as they find it she kicks at it and moves to the other side and then they will find her again and she will flip over or something she doesn't like they are supposed to do it for 20 min but with her they barely get a minute LOL and then whenl the contracion moniter is on she kicks at it the entire time what a funny little girl that's my child if she is spirited like me I AM IN TROUBLE!!!
PS the nurses here in antepartum at stony brook are phenomenal

oh much better today I am thankful for another uneventful day and the nurses and docs are happy with the Non happenings when they thought I would deliver a week ago so...another week closer to safety!!!!!!!!!!! still not out of the woods but closer to the edge

hi laurie i am sorry u had a bad day yesterday, i must have missed that post. however i am thrilled to hear how positive u sound. u seem to be doing great and ur little girl seems to be doing just fine. just keep doin what u r doing......NOTHING!!!! every day she is in u is a true blessing. u r always in my thoughts and prayes. hang in there

thank you very sweet yeah yesterday was tough I was watching a thing on TV about NICU babies and got scared I have to go to NICU for a tour next week not looking forward but they are suggesting that it is a good idea
but today is much better I even painted my nails and dh shaved me haha and later when he comes back he is going to give me a pdeicure the nurses here love him and have voted him DH of the year!!!

I will find out more on monday when they do another cervical length and they are going to weigh the baby from what I understand the baby is bigger than she should be she was weighed at 1 and 1/2 pounds on sunday and she should have been about 1 and a quarter plus I have gained about 2 1/2 pounds here and the steriods would make her gain weight first they didn't want me to gain weight (i only gained 4 pounds in the first 24 weeks and in here 1 week i gained over 2) I think that they are trying to fatten her up...but I may be abkle to go home in a week or 2 if all is well otherwise I may be here another 9 or so weeks there is no definate answer.
