WE ARE MOVING!!! WE ARE MOVING!!!!
OMG, I am soooo excited right now. I got home from my mani/pedi this afternoon and DH told me his friend may have found an apartment for us. We have been looking for the right place for years now. Well, we went to check it out and took it on the spot. I am sooo excited. As of September first we get to say good bye to our cheesy, one bedroom, living room/kitchen, and ONE closet and say hello to our new TWO bedroom, kitchen, livingroom, and 8, yes I said 8 closets. I don't know how I am gonna fill all the closets. We are outta Merrick and moving to Lindenhurst, just seven little houses away from the water! We are sooo excited, can ya tell!!!! I finally have a HUGE kitchen to cook in and finally get to use all my bridal shower stuff, finally a livingroom that we can actually fit a real couch and not a futon and we have a huge huge master bedroom and last but not least, we finally have a whole second bedroom for my stepson!!!

OMG- the best place is on Sunrise Highway called Ling Ling's I think? I will look for you. My sister lives in Bayshore and drives all the way here for it, and my Aunt in Mt. Sinai always brings some home with her.

Thanks everyone!!! I didn't sleep too well last night, I had paint colors, designs and about a zillion other things we have to do running through my head. Our place now is so small, I never really had to come up with designs, matching paint colors and curtains etc. This new place is huge and there is so much to do!! I am thinking of doing a Betty Boop themed kitchen!! DH has bought me sooo much Betty kitchen stuff over the years, so I am thinking I may shoot for that. I told him he could decorate the whole spare bedroom/stepsons room with my stepson and I won't have any say in that room. I am going to go through all my bridal shower stuff today and see what I can take back that won't go in the new place, and buy new stuff that will go. We get the keys tonight and tomorrow we are going to go and take measurements and decide on colors. I am going to Florida next week, had that planned already and i told DH I was going to cancel because we have a lot to do now to be in by Sept 1, but he told me not to think about canceling. I just feel like the whole time I am away, I'll be thinking of things to do there. Good thing they have Bed Bath and Beyond in Florida and Lowe's, I can shop down there!! AHHHH...I am just so excited, we really got and AWESOME STEAL of a deal on this place and the size is just incredible!!
