WE are going to ttc
now what do i do?? my cycles doesn't start on the same day each month, so how do i know when to bd??? is there something else i should be doing

Try not to think of your cycle starting on different days. Just remember that Cycle Day 1 (CD1) is the first day you get your heavy period. You ovulate somewhere between CD10 and CD20 *usually*. If you want to know when you ovulate, then you could start using OPKs (ovulation predictor kits) or CBEFM (clear blue easy fertility monitor). If you don't want to take that route, then an easy way to start TTC is to have sex every other day from the day your period ends, or throughout your entire cycle.

I (and many of the ladies on this board) recommend the book Taking Charge of Your Fertility by Toni Wechsler. It explains everything that nobody ever taught me about conceiving.

I agree with BDing every other day. I use OPK's and they help me pinpoint when I ovulate. Good Luck!
