Water Sono Question
Did the water sono hurt?
How much water did you drink?
How long does the whole procedure take?

Re: Water Sono Question
No, it didn't hurt. It was a little uncomfortable but it only lasts about 30 seconds.
I didn't have to drink any water, and they told me to empty my bladder first. They push saline into your uterus.
From start to finish it was maybe 2 minutes long.

Re: Water Sono Question
It did not hurt at all and you don't have to drink any water, I thought that also! I think they just shoot water up there.

Re: Water Sono Question
I agree with PPs. Just bring a maxipad with you for afterwards. You may leak a little bit - just water.

Re: Water Sono Question
I had AF style cramps for about an hour afterwards. And as pp mentioned, it has nothing to do with drinking water. Water is injected into your uterus while a sono is done.

Re: Water Sono Question
Didn't hurt, just uncomfortable. Maybe take an advil or tylenol beforehand and make sure you have a pad for after, I didn't and leaked - my undies were soaked.
