water for infants?
i know drs say no water but did anyone give their babies water? I know it wouldnt be in place on a feeding....

I gave it to my son. He was around 6 weeks, and a huge kid.

Sometimes I think DD cries because she just cries and not out of hungry and wants to suck but doesn't want a pacifier..... I've tried feeding her but she will take an ounce and that's it... so I don't think its out of hunger. Anyone else?

Never more than half an ounce, when he has hiccups for long periods of time, he will rarely take more than 2 gulps.
Ask your ped, if infant seems dehydrated to you.

I have been giving DS water on and off for months. he is 5 months old. He gets the hiccups really bad and the only thing that helps is to drink water. No more then 1/2 ounce at a time.
